The biggest attraction on Maui is more than 100 ft. below the ocean. Atlantis Submarines is your ticket to see it. Take an once-in-a-lifetime undersea adventure in an Atlantis Submarine, the world's first and most technologically advanced passenger submarine. You will journey into a spectacular blue world more than 100 feet below the surface in spacious air-conditioned comfort. To enhance its sub tour experience and help improve the marine environment, Atlantis embarked on creating an artificial reef in December 2005 by sinking the aged Carthaginian replica of a 19th century supply vessel. The sunken Carthaginian, which needed major repairs and would have been scuttled at sea otherwise, is anchored to a sandy bottom in 95 feet of water that is devoid of coral reef. The resulting artificial reef will develop into a self-sustaining habitat for indigenous fish, coral and other marine life. Join us aboard the Atlantis Submarine in Maui to witness the new resting home of the Carthaginian. From December through May, Atlantis guests may enjoy whale watching during the ship-to-shore journey. All tours provide narration in Japanese, Chinese and Korean via headsets. Reservations for this tour are highly recommended.
Additional Information Children must be a minimum of 36" in height to ride the submarine and maximum 12 years of age. Each guest is required to independently navigate a nearly vertical 10-step ladder into and out of the submarine. Food and beverages will not be provided on this tour. Quoted prices are subject to 4.166% Excise Tax and 3% Harbor Tax.
Your tour will involve two boats, a shuttle boat to take you to the submarine, and the submarine itself. The submarine portion will be 45-50 minutes long, and the total duration will be one hour and 30 minutes.

- Board the Holokai shuttle boat at Slip 18, Lahaina Harbor for transfer to our submarine.

Check-in 45 minutes prior to tour time at the Atlantis Ticket Office, located on the Front Street side of the Pioneer Inn Hotel (Not the Hotel lobby, which is facing the ocean). Your credit card security is important to us. A credit card used at the time of purchase with matching photo identification must be presented by the cardholder at check-in. If we are unable to verify an authorized user, another form of payment may be required, or the reservation may be canceled. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Parking: Please allow ample time to locate and secure parking prior to your Submarine Adventure, as Lahaina Town is a very popular and busy area. We have listed a few parking options below for your convenience. Please observe all parking signs, limits or restrictions as Atlantis is not responsible for any parking tickets or fees.

Please bring Hawaii driver's license, Hawaii state ID, or Military ID upon check-in.
This tour operates daily with scheduled departures at 9:00am, 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm and 2:00pm.
Customer cancellation and confirmation are to be called in within 12 hours of your check-in time to avoid penalties. Cancellations made less than 12 hours in advance and no shows will be charged the full amount.
